Collins Perley Sports & Fitness Center

  • The Collins Perley Sports & Fitness Center is truly one of Vermont's recreation gems. With over 500,000 user visits a year, it is a testament to the region's commitment to recreation – traditional and non traditional.
    Collins Perley sits on 53 acres of land just off Exit 19 of Interstate 89 in St. Albans. While its primary user is its owner, Bellows Free Academy, the high school has had the vision to understand its best use is as a facility for the entire region to use.
    Our 11 outdoor sports and fitness venues and five indoor venues make this facility one that is unparalleled in Vermont and probably the nicest facility of its type in any community in the country of a comparable size. We offer all of the major field sports. Our wellness facilities include tennis, fitness gym, racquetball, wallyball, martial arts, skating and more. We offer a wide range of the more popular fitness classes such as aerobics, Zumba, Tai Chi, belly dancing, and more.

    • Core N More
      Starts: 8:00 am
      Ends: July 25, 2014 - 9:00 am
      Description: Core N’ More – Intermediate All Ages.
      -This class will begin with a 15-20 minute functional core workout. The core portion will involve the entire core. The next 20-25 minutes will be performing a variety of strength training exercises. These exercises will target all major muscles groups. A caloric burn from start to finish!

      Description: Aerobic exercise increases your heart rate and breathing for an extended period of time. During this aerobic activity your body produces more energy and delivers more oxygen to your muscles. Your heart beats faster and increases the blood flow to your muscles and then back to your lungs. A good aerobic exercise program can help you live a longer, healthier life and enhance your well being.
